New Humanist Group to Form in Northern Suburbs
Posted October 20th, 2007 by David NaughtonFriends, I am in the early stages of potentially forming a new small Humanist group in the extreme North Metro area of the Twin Cities. This more localized group would be initially intended to attract Humanists of all philosophical and religious experiences, backgrounds and viewpoints &en; and would have an early focus on defining Humanism and emphasizing its stature as a guiding and unifying ethical philosophy for our lives. Depending on the viewpoints and needs of its early members, the group would move toward discussing the implications of Humanism for current events and political issues. The meetings envisioned would include a mix of both presentation/lecture/ Q&A formats and more informal discussions in social settings aimed at getting to know each otherand to develop meaningful friendships.
New Humanists of MN Website
Posted October 3rd, 2007 by David NaughtonWe are pleased to announce the launch of the new Humanists of Minnesota website!
The new site offers many features that are new to our organization. The most significant improvement is that this site allows the posting and editing of content through the web via a visual, word-processor-like interface. Now anyone we authorize can post content, even those without web design skills.
Subscribe to the RSS feed for future information about the new features, as well as the many more articles and events to be added in the coming days and weeks.
